Venue : The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Guindy, Chennai.
The University has proposed to build a Silver Jubilee Guest House and Auditorium in the year 2012 as part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of this University.
The Bhoomi Pooja for the proposed structures was on 22.03.2012.
The Minister of Health, Government of Tamil Nadu and Pro Chancellor, The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Dr. V S Vijay M.S.(Ortho) D. Ortho, laid the foundation for the Silver Jubilee Guest House And Auditorium.
The Guest House, which would house 24 rooms, 2 suites, a waiting hall, kitchen, pantry and a Dining Hall, would be build on an area of 12761 sq feet.
The palatial auditorium which can seat about 894 people would be built on an area of 32323 sq ft and would have a front foyer and 2 screen rooms.
