Seminars/ CME Conducted
- To update the knowledge of the Students, Faculties and the Researchers of AYUSH, Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs are conducted from October 2010.
- The Department of Siddha so far has conducted four Siddha CME programs in the University Campus.
- 203 Under & Post Graduate students and Faculties of Siddha Medical Colleges affiliated to this University have participated in the First Siddha CME on 26.10.2010
- Second Siddha CME on 29.11.2010 was attended by 214 Under & Post Graduate students and Faculties of Siddha Medical Colleges affiliated to this University.
- Third Siddha CME on 25.01.2011 was attended by 221 Under & Post Graduate students and Faculties of Siddha Medical Colleges affiliated to this University.
- Fourth Siddha CME on 09.03.2011 was attended by 178 Under & Post Graduate students and Faculties of Siddha Medical Colleges affiliated to this University.
- Certificates with CME credit points (Accreditation by The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University)are awarded to the participants of CME programs.

- Dr. K.S. Uma attended the Workshop on "Varmam and Thokkanam" from 21 st -23rd March 2011 at Siddha Central Research Institute ,Chennai – 106.
- Dr. K. Rajalakshmi and Dr. K.S. Uma attended the ROTP programme at National Institute of Siddha,Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai-600 047 from 28.03.2011 to 02.04.2011
- Dr. K.S. Uma attended the National Workshop on "Analytical Techniques on Standardization of Siddha Drugs" on 10th-13th June 2010 at SriRamachandraUniversity and Research Institute, Chennai – 116.
Workshops
- Workshop on "Research Methodology and Bio -Statistics" was conducted for AYUSH Postgraduates and Researchers . So for three workshops were conducted at the University premises from June 2010 to August 2010 (14.06.2010 - 18.06.2010, 26.07.2010 - 30.07.2010 & 23.08.2010 - 27.08.2010 - each five days) for AYUSH Post Graduates and Researchers. Totally 150 Post Graduates have benefited from these workshops.
Training
- Dr. K.S. Uma attended the hands on training in Experimental Pharmacology 02.08.2010 - 07.08.2010 at Siddha Central Research Institute.
