Universal masking, physical distancing, and maintaining hand hygiene have been the key strategies advocated to reduce the transmission of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) in the community. In particular, masks were added later in its recent recommendations by the World Health Organization. Mandating universal use of masks for going out, especially in areas of high local transmission and prevalence of SARS‐CoV‐2 infection, could mean reduced droplet transmission by people with asymptomatic, pre‐asymptomatic, and mild disease, thus facilitating source control. It also supports adherence by dissociating the stigma of using masks in public. We attempt in this public survey to understand the attitude of people towards the facemask and its practice in daily lives. This information will be useful to know the gaps & myths in mask usage/practice. As a public committed to fighting against this pandemic, your response to this survey is invited & we are thankful for your time & contribution.
